We have had experience developing SCORM-compliant eLearning courses that adhere to strict accessibility standards (e.g. Level AA WCAG 2.0).
When designing eLearning content, multi-modal information delivery methods (graphic, audio and video) are adopted to maximise the audience’s learning experience.
Key parameters that inform the design of the educational content include:
- Learning time – efficient design and packaging of information to maximise the effectiveness of the learning time.
- Instructional consistency – programs are designed to educate with content and presentation consistency. This will ensure that each person will receive the same consistent, technically correct information.
- Implicit learning and motivation – the learner is actively involved in the learning process, reinforcing the educational components and helping the learner to retain the educational message.
- Individual learning styles – learners who have different abilities and knowledge are catered for.
